If you are prescribed a blood thinning medication such as aspirin or an anticoagulant by your doctor for a cardiovascular condition, then please check with your doctor prior to stopping the medication.
It is important to note that the procedure may need to be avoided in case of open wounds, severe cystic acne, active herpes or cold sores.
HIFU is contraindicated in patients with active mechanical implants like pacemakers, metallic implants in treated area.
