Aerolase Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Experience complete facial rejuvenation with one of the most advanced laser platforms – Aerolase Neo Elite. This one of a kind laser offers safe and effective laser treatment options for all skin types and skin tones.
The Aerolase Neo Elite laser’s break-through 650-microsecond technology allows high amount of energy to pass through the skin without damaging the skin, thus, ensuring minimal discomfort, no matter what condition is being treated. This is a significant advantage over traditional laser devices and also minimises the risk of adverse side effects afterwards.
Aerolase offers a complete rejuvenation of the skin by acting on many different skin concerns all at once. These includes active acne, acne scars, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, skin rejuvenation and skin tightening, pore size reduction, bruising, Melasma (dark spots and pigmentation over face). This laser can even be used for skin conditions such as Onychomycosis (nail fungus), spider veins, Psoriasis, Rosacea etc.

An Aerolase treatment takes between 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the area being treated. The energy emitted by the device triggers natural collagen production, improving skin texture and tone. In the second step, the laser device is employed to address specific skin concerns, such as dark spots, acne or spider veins.
During treatment, you should feel only a mild warm sensation, it is usually well tolerated as compared to other laser devices. Mild redness may be experienced immediately after the session which calms down in a couple of hours.
-
Just like any other laser device, it is important to avoid tanning for two weeks prior and to avoid using retinol-based creams, active acids, or topical preparations containing AHA/BHA for about a week prior to having your Aerolase treatment.
Caution is advised when using this laser for patients prone to cold sores, or those with active skin conditions. It is best to observe the recommendations given by your dermatologist for the same.
-
Aerolase is usually not associated with any downtime. Any redness or sensitivity which may happen at the time of the procedure usually subsides in a couple of hours. It is important to practice strict sun protection for at least a week post the procedure. Any other facial treatments should be avoided for a week, as is necessary after any laser treatment. Any active skin treatment should be avoided for 3-5 days post the laser. Be sure to wear sunblock and avoid direct sunlight, as is necessary after any laser treatment.

Aerolase has a unique customisable wavelength setting, which means that the the laser can be tuned to your skin tone for optimal safety (other lasers tend to have more limited options and thus treatment cannot be as highly customised for your concerns and skin tone).
It delivers high energy in a short pulse duration that confines the laser’s energy to the targeted chromophore (i.e. melanin pigment) without allowing it to escape to the surrounding skin. This provides several benefits including: more precision in targeting a particular skin condition, greater disruption to the targeted chromophores in the skin which equates with better results and increased patient comfort, no or minimal post-procedural redness, increased efficacy and unprecedented safety. This laser, eliminates virtually all the inherent risks associated with traditional lasers. -

Aerolase treatments can safely be combined with other modalities to maximise the results. In particular, we suggest:
Microneedling: stimulates collagen production to further address signs of aging, minimises pigmentation variations, and improve skin texture issues
Platelet-rich plasma therapy or exosomes: using natural healing potential of the body for skin rejuvenation from within; this option is typically combined with micro needling treatment
Bespoke facials: to help you achieve a long lasting glow.
The results of Aerolase can also be enhanced by regular used of Medical-grade skincare as advised by our dermatologist

Some patients see results after the first session itself, however this may vary individually. Typically pigmentation can need anywhere between 3-6 sessions to start showing visible results. This also depends on the type of pigmentation and the underlying cause.

With the Aerolase, initially the vessels may appear like a mild scab initially. Most vessels will be gone permanently, but due to the skin ageing, continued sun exposure and hormonal changes, new vessels will likely develop over time and more treatments will need to be performed. To slow this ageing process and to reduce the chances of new vessels developing, patients should always apply SPF when in the sun and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
-
Aerolase treatment is more comfortable than treatment with any other lasers. No aesthetic gel or cooling is required with this treatment. Any redness subsides within a few hours, only leaving you with a healthy youthful glow!
